Hey everyone! My name is Lucas Snyder, and this website a place where you can learn a little about me and my interests. Have fun browsing around, and let me know if you like it or have any suggestions. It is always a work in progress, so please come back often.
My main area of interest is in observational astronomy research and data analysis. In Summer 2007 I moved to Tucson, AZ, to begin working on my PhD in Planetary Science at the UofA. I have now kind of switched directions and am now working two part-time jobs doing Astronomy education for the general public. Eventually, I hope to get involved in research of small bodies like asteroids or comets.
Please check out my *Astro* page to see how I spend some of my free time. I'm trying really hard to think of a new topic to add. Any ideas?
Due to the popularity of Facebook, I have now done away with my "Friends" page. Unfortunately this may diminish some of my web traffic, because a lot of my visitors were evidently searching for people they knew and found the list of my friends' names. I also removed my "Contact" page, since it wasn't working anyway. If you are not on Facebook, you can probably find some other way to get ahold of me through one of my links.
